Our mission here is to help the boys to succeed and to excel,
so as to become the best that they can be; growing as faithful young men!

Matthew Jackson, Head Master

Why Saint Peter’s

At this moment in time we find ourselves on a very distinct path in education, one which must redress the balance of severe interruptions to class-based learning. Saint Peter’s takes its place alongside others within the global movement for a renewal in education, especially Catholic education. We offer something unique in terms of an engaging curriculum, underpinned by an ongoing programme of personal development.

What do you mean by an ‘holistic’ approach?

Saint Peter’s is focused when it comes to academics and at the same time we recognise that this focus must extend beyond the classroom. College life, in a very ordinary way, equips our boys with the confidence to discover their individual talents whether academic, musical, sporting or other.

How is Saint Peter’s different?

We strive to provide something truly exciting; a modern education, driven by a desire to teach beyond exams. Embracing our international dimension, we seek to inspire boys to grow as global citizens and to develop as self-reliant, resilient, confident and faithful young men.

As an academically non-selective school we strive towards excellence and innovation through iGCSE and A-Level examinations. Beyond the classroom, we provide a full extra-curricular programme to encourage personal, artistic, musical and sporting interests. Importantly we have formed strong links with the local community and look as much as possible to participate in the celebrations of the village as well as offering membership of the football and rugby clubs, theatre group and École de Musique.

Saint Peter’s responds to a growing demand for a values-led, international education.
Inside and outside of the classroom we seek to inspire each boy to thrive as virtuous young men
so as to become the Catholic leaders of tomorrow.

Is boarding the right option?

Choosing a boarding school can be a very complicated process, one which is personal to each family. At Saint Peter’s we provide a safe, caring boarding environment, one which fosters a spirit of trust and well-being, our boys live and learn, experiencing a truly international culture. In this context, we work unceasingly to develop a joy-filled College community; offering the stability of a home from home to those in our care.

What does Saint Peter’s offer?

By the time our boys complete their secondary education I hope that the individual characteristics that make them who they are – their Faith, values, and sense of self – will have been truly embedded. This responsibility, which we share with parents, is even more pronounced within the context of a boys’ boarding school.

Our mission is informed by the Catholic faith and strengthened by perseverance. Through an encounter with Christ in others, we seek to continue a transformation of life, helping our boys to achieve the best that they can.
