Executive Head Master

Matthew Jackson is a co-Founder of Saint Peter’s and is responsible to PFEI Foundation Board and Board of Governors for the strategic direction and overall success of the College.

He was educated at the University of London, studying politics and history, before working at the Times Educational Supplement. After several years specialising in the development of international and independent schools he went on to lead the global expansion of an edTech start-up before moving into the classroom.

From 2018-20, he was Vice Principal of an international boarding school where, in addition to his pastoral role as House Master and Teacher, he worked towards raising professional standards.

He is an NED of an international NGO, an active Trustee of several UK education and health charities as well as a Freeman of the City of London.

Chaplain

Fr Lawler is a co-Founder of Saint Peters. A Priest of the Diocese of Leeds, he draws on significant experience of school chaplaincy and international charities, acts as general secretary of the PETRUS Fondation to support the charitable activities of the College.

He holds Theology degrees from the University of Leeds and the Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas, Rome.

In the day to day life of the College, he has responsibility for the spiritual, social and pastoral wellbeing of the members of our community and works within the Executive Team to ensure that the teachings of the Catholic Church inform College life.

Provost

Fr Henry has been a Priest of the Archdiocese of Liverpool for 30 years. He serves as Parish Priest, national Chaplain for the Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem and Chaplain to its governing body.

Based on his current experience as a school governor and Director of a Catholic Educational Trust, he was appointed Chair of the PETRUS fondation pour l’enseignement and Provost of the Board of Governors.

He studied for the priesthood at Ushaw College, gaining a BA in Theology at Durham University before completing an MA in Pastoral Theology at the University of London.

He runs a liturgical blog which has a large global audience.

Head of School

Mrs Law is both Head of School and Designated Safeguarding Lead with overall responsibility for the school life of Saint Peter's.

After being awarded a first class honours degree in Science, Mrs Law worked in industry and worked towards a PhD in Biotechnology. Having completed her PGCE, since 2002 she has been a classroom teacher, developing curriculums for GCSE, iGCSE, IB and A-Level in the UK and overseas.

After 5 years of experience as Head of Science, Mrs Law completed her NPQH before taking on the role of Deputy Head Academic and then progressing rapidly to the position of Head of School successfully leading 3 international schools.
